Our Parent Teacher Organization is an active group of parents and teachers whose purpose is to help us becocme a learning community. We do this when we involve parents in supporting teachers in their efforts to educate children, and teachers in supporting parents in their efforts to educate children.
We do this through a number of activities and jobs; and here are some of the most important:
- Sponsoring fun and relaxing family events
- Funding an educational assistant for Westmeade (Cindy)
- Creating and fulfilling a yearly "wish list"
- Providing forums for parents to discuss educational and parenting issues
- Supporting other activities that promote the whole child, at school, at home, and in the community.
